What is Small Business Tethers

Has the passion for your business become tarnished because of the economy?

Does it feel like your thoughts are spinning out of control?

 As small business owners we feel like we are floating alone in the sea of fear, worry, doubt and concern with out any oars. The feelings of indecisiveness, overwhelm, frustration, sadness and anxiety are a common everyday experience. Perhaps you are asking yourself if it would be better to just close your doors.

If you look out over this black sea you will discover there are many of us out floating on this sea right now. Alone we just keep riding helplessly, but if we hook up together we can create a plan, support each other, and have fun again in our businesses.

Christine Walters of ComedySportz and Vickie Griffith of BreakThrough are throwing out the lines to tether us all together by offering a no cost Small Business Town Meeting.

 What is this about?

 This is a space where you as a Small Business Owner can give and get some relief, share new business ideas, and be advocates for each other.  Christine and I may not have the answers for you, but others in the group may.

 It is a place to trouble shoot problems that yield solutions. This is an invitation to think around, in, and on top of the box; not only outside of it. This is a chance to find and be advisors, coaches, and mentors to others.

 If you are only thinking about how awful business is, you will keep getting less business. This will take you out of your head. When we stop focusing on lack, and start helping each other, we can get some answers to our frustrations.

As small business we are the backbone of the Richmond community. If what you are doing is not working for your business it is time to try something else.
